Among 5 Product Designers Contributing to BitGo's $2 Billion Public Market Debut ($BTGO)
About BitGo
BitGo works like a bank, but for digital assets—helping institutions like SoFi, Robinhood, Goldman Sachs, hedge funds, and trading firms securely store and move crypto.
Moving large sums typically requires proper role management, smooth onboarding, strict policies to safeguard assets, multiple people to review and approve transaction and much more.
I have been fortunate to lead various design initiatives at BitGo
01
Redesigned Enterprise Onboarding
Replaced a fragmented, CSM-dependent setup process with a guided, role-based onboarding flow, surfacing the right step to the right stakeholder at the right time, without a support rep walking them through it.
Result: Onboarding time dropped from 15 days to 7 business days, moving customers to their first deposit faster and accelerating time-to-revenue for BitGo.
02
BitGo Verify
Built BitGo Verify from the ground up as a mobile-first approval experience, replacing hardware tokens and desktop-only tools with biometric authentication and clear transaction context, so approvers can act with confidence from anywhere, not just their desk.
Result: Verify has supported $12B+ in approved capital, processed 20K+ approvals within its first three months, and become the primary approval channel for over 90% of enterprise customers.
03
Trade & Stake At Lightspeed With BitGo Retail
Designed BitGo's first retail app, built for quick trading and staking across both institutional and retail customers. The product includes advanced trading charts, multiple order types, and margin trading, bringing professional-grade tools to a self-serve interface.
Result: A shorter path from account funding to first trade, with margin trading and advanced order types giving both retail and institutional customers reason to stay on a single surface, reducing drop-off between trading and staking.
04
Access Capital With BitGo Finance
Designed a self-serve path for institutions to borrow against their digital assets, replacing manual, relationship-manager-driven credit requests with a flow that surfaces collateral requirements, rates, and approval status upfront.
Result: Institutions can now evaluate and request financing without waiting on a manual back-and-forth, shortening the time between request and funded capital.
05
Safeguard Your Enterprise With Policy Engine
Gave enterprise admins direct, self-serve control over transaction governance, defining who can move funds, under what conditions, and with how many sign-offs, without filing a request to BitGo's implementation team.
Result: Security and compliance teams can configure and update approval rules themselves, reducing turnaround time on policy changes and BitGo's implementation load per account.
06
Multi Layered, Kintsugi Design System
Built Kintsugi, a shared design system spanning BitGo's enterprise, retail, and Verify surfaces, unifying tokens, components, and motion patterns that had previously drifted into three inconsistent visual languages across product lines.
Result: Product teams design new features faster on a common foundation, and engineering works from a single source of truth, cutting down visual QA cycles and rework at handoff.
